Today our school hold a sports meeting.it begans at ninght a'clock.there have many kinds of match such as high jumping,one_handred meters race,basketball and so on.i and my class cheers for our class.in the end our class ranks two and i feel cooperatiom and friendship is how important!
Sports Meeting
Last month we had a sports meeting.Though the weather wasn't very fine that day,the students were all very excited and the whole school was alive.
This time,I was even more excited.Because I went in for the sports meeting and my item was high jump.I didn't want to get any place,I only wanted to enjoy the game because I knew I wasn't good at sports.
When I got to the field with my friend.I was both excited and nervous.When I saw the first height,my heart could hardly heat.How high it was!It was higher than our desks.I couldn't believe my eyes.This was too high for me to jump over.I wasn't nervous at that timewhile I was a bit afraid.But I had gone there,I must have a try.
Not long after,the game began.The first person was great.He jumped over easily.I was too surprised to say a word.The second was good,too.The third nearly jumped over,but he wasn't bad…
It was my turn.I had a deep breath and then ran towards.In front of the pole,I began to jump.Oh,no!My right foot hit the pole.“I failed.” I thought.And then,another unlucky thing happened.I didn't stand firm and I tumbled.I hurt my back badly.At that moment I felt my back was broken.It was too painful.It seemed that the people around field all didn't know that,they only laughed at my foolish posture.After a very short rest,I stood up.
I push my pain back and then went out of the field with my red face.My friend hurried to come to me.He asked me if this was terrible.I was too pained with my back to answer his questions.I only shook my head.I was sad.Not only I had hurt my back but also I couldn't go on in the game.I had to see the others jump and wish them to get a good place.
Though I didn't have the whole game.I was still very happy.Because a lot of my classmates tried their best in the game and they got a lot of good places.They were all best in my eyes.I was thankful to them for doing their best for our class.

Sports lovers here always look forward to the month of August or September because of the Inter School Sports-meeting.These occasions used to be very colorful and attractive.Just like the previous years,this year’s sports-meeting was enjoyable.
It was held in the Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh city.The stadium was cheerfully decorated for that purpose.The bitumen tracks were neatly marked with white paint.The sports officials were in their official badges and the whole day they were busy with preparations.At about 2 p.m.that day,there was a march past by athletes in their respective school colors and flags.The chief Education Officer took the salute.With the singing of the Nation Anthem and the hoisting of the National Flag,he declared the meeting open.
There were many interesting events.There were also separate events for boys and girls.The competitors were tense and serious.They were in excellent physical fitness.Some new records were set in the 100,200 and 400 meter races.The hurdles and relays were some of the interesting track events.The girls’ events added some color and mirth to the spectators.Of the girls’ items,the tug-of-war was a never ending source of merriment.Throughout the events,our school band was in attendance.
After the meeting was over,the Chief Education Officer gave the trophies and certificates to the winners.He complimented the athletes on their performance.The Secretary of the Inter School Sports Council thanked the distinguished guests for their presence.With the singing of the Nation Anthem,the meeting came to a grand close.
On that particular day,we shared the atmosphere of real joy and gladness.It is one of the most enjoyable days in our academic life.

Ha-ha, I ran with my classmate then. Because I want to cheer them on. But always they ran faster than me long. So I had to try my best to catch them up. It’s a hard work, I think.
The match is very fierce. The players are powerful. Who is the best? We guess. All of us hope the winner is our class. Finally, the best will get congratulations. And others also will get comfort and support.
Oh, I am forget something. Before the match beginning, it is warmth and fragrance doubled and redoubled, all of the pupil and teacher will give ther best wishes to the players in their class and also the other classes. They are kind people. And the match is the best way to make people happier, stronger, and also make them become more friendly.
