any other后接單數(shù)

　　因?yàn)閍ny other一般表示同一范圍的比較。any other表示“其他的任何一個(gè)”，由于any 表示“任何”因此其后只能接可數(shù)名詞的單數(shù)。

　　any other boy 其他任何的一個(gè)男生

　　與 other boys 其他的男生

　　the other boy 另外一個(gè)男生

　　表達(dá)都不一樣

　　any other的用法

　　He is taller than any other girls.他比任一女孩都高。（男的與女孩相比）

　　He is taller than any other boy.他比其他男孩高。（自己是男的，要排除自己）

　　China is larger than any countries in Africa. 中國(guó)比非洲任一國(guó)家都大。（中國(guó)是在亞洲，與非洲其它國(guó)家相比，不排除自己）

　　China is larger than any other country in Asia. 中國(guó)比亞洲其它國(guó)家都大。（中國(guó)是亞洲國(guó)家中的一員，要排除自己）
